Indian cricketers who should have got a better farewell

Sachin's farewell is the greatest cricket farewell that world of cricket would have ever  witnessed. Here is the list of Indian players who deserved a better farewell.

5) Zaheer khan

  This left handed pace spearhead has dominated the cricket world with his sharp deliveries. He was the key contributor for India in the 2011 world cup victory. Following his bad form and injuries,he has been dropped out of ODI Squad and he called it out as the time to retire.

4) MS Dhoni

  Dhoni is a surpirse addition to this list. Captain cool's decision to retire from test cricket was a shock and surprise for cricket fans. Dhoni's decision on the field were unpredictable but they were key to his success. Dhoni's service as middle orderbatsmen and excellent wicket keeper is still on demand.

Dhoni has announced that the retirement from test cricket will let him concentrate on the shorter form of the game.

3) Azharuddin

    As per stats, Mohammed Azharuddin, The former Indian team captain who would be one of the 4th most successful captain after Ms Dhoni, Saurav Ganguly and Kapil Dev.  Mohammed Azharuddin was dropped out of the team followed by ban after the max fixing allegations against him.

2) Rahul dravid

  Commonly know as Jammy within the team, Rahul dravid has been termed as Mr. Dependable or The Wall with a reason.

Dravid has delivered at all the times when the team wanted him to do so.He wore different caps like indismissable middle order batsman, an excellent keeper, wonderful captain.​

Dravid retired as the third highest run getter of all time in Test cricket with an aggregate of 13,288 runs from 164 matches at an average of 52.31 behind only Tendulkar who has scored 15,470 runs from 188 matches. Then, the record was broken by Jacques Kallis before his retirement. His contribution to Indian cricket still continues by coaching the under 19 and India A team

With the level of commitment he has shown, Dravid deserves a much better farewell.​

1) Sourav Ganguly

  The prince of kolkota, the god of offside is the most aggressive captain that Indian cricket has ever seen.Ms Dhoni may be the captain who showed India how to win tournaments but Ganguly has made India taste victories and brought  back India in winning track.

Ganguly's bitter  chapter with the coach Greg Chappell has changed Ganguly's career once for all. However Ganguly's contribution to cricket continues as commentator.
