[Do you know] Why that extra pocket in Jeans pant

Have you ever wondered what would be the real reason for that extra pocket in your Jean.  We have found a variety of  use with this pocket. We are mostly using it as coin pocket.

But this is originally called a watch pocket.

In 1800s, Levi manufactured these pockets to safely hold the watches with chains (traditional strapless watches). :)
