Google's Driverless car prototype

With completely automated systems cut shorting our activities, Why should we take the pain of driving? This brings in the idea for the Google Driverless Car prototype.

Yes. No steering No brakes. Just start and stop button with a map to show the route. That's Google's style.

Google do not have plans to move into Manufacting world and These cars are for it's employees and internal commutation.

This car could sense objects within 200 yards. The face of the car is built with a foamlike substance to avoid injuries in case of collision with pedestrians. The car has 2 seats with seat belts and resembles a golf cart & Little VW model. The main focus is on the logic not on luxury.

 The current speed limit of Google protoype is 25mph.

The biggest question of bringing this cars into the public road is that How confident are we to walk on the roads where drivers have no control over the vehicle he is driving?
